A Quill Corporation Press Release titled "There Are No More Lucy Carmichaels in Today's Offices" stated that the business professionals of today are nothing like the character Lucille Ball played on "The Lucy Show" from 1962-1968. Quill Corporation wrote:

Lucille Ball might have been the star in office of the 1960s, but today's real office stars are the trained professionals who are the backbone of the successful office.

I guess no one at Quill got the memo that "The Lucy Show" wasn't a reality show!

This delightful comedy features Betty White and Del Moore as Elizabeth and Alvin, newlyweds who are just starting their lives together. Elizabeth is a housewife who sometimes has a problem keeping out of trouble all to the delight and exasperation of her husband, Alvin. This early situation style comedy showcased White and gave its audience a glimpse of the talent she would reveal on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "The Golden Girls".

I do not recommend purchasing the "Best of Lucy and Friends," because it contains the same public domain episodes released by many different companies many times before. The fourth disc doesn't even contain any Lucy episodes on it!

The Lucy Show Airing on ME-TV Chicago in 2007

Good news for Chicagoans! "The Lucy Show" will begin airing weekdays on ME-TV Chicago at 1:30 AM Central beginning January 1, 2007. The show is apart of Me-TV's Winter "Chill With ME" Schedule.

The channel will also be showing "I Love Lucy" weekdays at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM and 10:30 PM Central. "We Love Lucy" will air Saturdays from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM Central.
