Lucie Arnaz Performing At Copley Symphony Hall

Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein
Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein will be appearing in "They're Playing My Song” November 9-10 at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, California. The program will be conducted by Marvin Hamlisch and is a part of The San Diego Symphony's 2007-08 Winter Pops Concerts. stated:

Hamlisch will launch his Winter Pops concerts next season with “They're Playing My Song,” inspired by his semi-autobiographical musical comedy “They're Playing Our Song” and featuring the original stars, Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein. During the program's first half, Arnaz (the daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz) will sing and Klein will do a comedy routine with orchestral accompaniment. After intermission, they'll appear in an updated and condensed version of the show that combined Neil Simon's script, Hamlisch's music and Carole Bayer Sager's lyrics. Opening on Broadway in 1979, it ran for 1,082 performances.

San Diego audiences will “get the best of it – it's a very happy-go-lucky show,” said Hamlisch, who is also chief pops conductor for the Pittsburgh Symphony and Washington, D.C.'s National Symphony.

The concerts will begin at 8 P.M. and tickets can be purchased by calling 619-235-0804. More information is also available at
