TV Alert: Lucy Takes A Road Trip

TV Land will be including 3 episodes of "I Love Lucy" as a part of its "Memorial Day Roadtrips Marathon" on Monday, May 28.

Here's the schedule:

All times listed are Eastern.

9:00 AM I Love Lucy #113 – Ethel’s Home Town
The Ricardos and the Mertzes stop at Ethel's hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Under the impression that Ethel, not Ricky, has been called to Hollywood by the movies, the townsfolk accord her a monumental ovation, and when Ethel refuses to disillusion them--and even goes so far as to put on a "celebrity act"--Lucy takes matters into her own hands.

9:30 AM I Love Lucy #114 – LA At Last
Arriving in Hollywood with stars in her eyes Lucy heads for a "The Brown Derby" frequented by celebrities where she encounters Eve Arden and William Holden. Her excitement at spotting Holden is surpassed only by her anxiety later when Ricky introduces her formally after she has presented Holden, inadvertently, with a custard pie in the face.

10:30 AM I Love Lucy #128 – Lucy Visits Grauman’s
With only a week left in Hollywood, Lucy weeps about her lack o f souvenirs. Her collection already includes a tin can ran over by Cary Grant's left rear tire, a napkin boasting Lana Turner's lip-prints and a few other goodies; but when Lucy discovers John Wayne's concrete block at Grauman's Chinese Theatre is loose she decides to take home a souvenir to end all souvenirs.

Episodes of Leave It To Beaver, Green Acres, Bonanza, The Munsters, The Andy Griffith Show and Sanford & Son will also be shown.
