Lucille Ball's Films Featured In Gene Kelly Tribute

Gene Kelly (1912-1996) will be Turner Classic Movies (TCM)'s "Star of the Month" in March. Kelly fans (that's me!) can tune in Mondays throughout the month to enjoy his films.

Three of the films being shown feature our favorite redhead, Lucille Ball. TCM will be showing DuBarry Was A Lady (1943) and Thousands Cheer (1943) to salute Gene Kelly's work at MGM. Ziegfeld Follies (1946)will be shown as a salute to Gene Kelly's collaborations with director Vincente Minnelli.
