Fox Auctioning Lucy Memorabilia For Charity

Variety has reported that 20th Century Fox will be auctioning more than 200 rare documents from its archives to benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund's insurance fund. One of the documents being offered is Lucille Ball's signed contract for her work in the 1946 thriller The Dark Corner. Ball was paid $5,000 a week ($60,000) to play Kathleen in the film. The highly anticipated auction will be held January 25, 2007 in New York.
